Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED™) Green Building Rating System Accredited Professional has the expertise required to assist with the design of sites and buildings to LEED™ standards and to coordinate the documentation process that is necessary for LEED™ certification. The LEED™ Green Building Rating System is based on accepted energy and environmental principles and strikes a balance between established practices and emerging concepts. It evaluates environmental performance from a whole-building and sustainable site design perspective, providing a definitive standard for what constitutes a “green building.” The LA Group has already been a part of the project team on the following LEED™ certified projects:

Green building design strives to balance environmental responsibility, resource efficiency, occupant comfort and well-being, and community sensitivity. Sustainable concepts have always been a large component of The LA Group's design process, and the LEED™ system serves to formalize the practice.
