Woodstock '99: Rome, New York
The LA Group facilitated the planning and permits for Woodstock ‘99, an outdoor music festival set on the former 1,200-ace Griffiss Air Force Base. Our firm was also responsible for camping layout, off-site parking, food service layout, permit compliance, and signage.
A temporary city was created for the 225,000 attendees that included a food village, camping area, showers, 2,500 portable toilets, vending village, emergency response and medical treatment facilities, and parking. Clean up and restoration of the site was overseen by The LA Group.

Woodstock '94: Saugerties, New York
The LA Group provided comprehensive site analysis, environmental assessment, site master planning, design, engineering, and construction management for an outdoor music festival on an 800-acre site.
The project scope included a visual analysis, site circulation plan, stormwater management plan, wastewater treatment engineering, infrastructure connections, wetland delineation, complex regulatory permitting, site restoration planning, and construction observation and monitoring.
