Mike Ingersoll Named an Honorary Member of Sigma Lambda Alpha

Mike Ingersoll attended the Investiture Ceremony and Reception on April 29th to receive the recognition as an Honorary Member of the International Honor Society of Sigma Lambda at SUNY ESF Department of Landscape Architecture Alpha Nu Chapter.

Ingersoll is one of 48 individuals since 1980 to be honored for contributions to the profession of landscape architecture as exemplified in the honor society’s primary purpose of,

“…recognizing leadership and character and the conscious striving for the betterment of academic programs and the profession of landscape architecture.”

The honor also recognizes commitment to the Landscape Architecture BLA and MLA programs at SUNY ESF. Since 2006, The LA Group Scholarship has provided support for nine Bachelor of Landscape Architecture students.
